"Manor Road Nursery School is a wonderful Co-op in the Yonge/Eglinton area. Our daughter attended for 2 years, and now our son is enrolled 3 days/week. I love the benefits that come with the school: regular Sportball classes, music with Kayla, field trips to a Pumpkin Patch and a Sugar Shack. A huge bonus is that the kids play outdoors every day (barring a hurricane or blizzard!) -- so important for me, as many of the nursery schools we visited do not offer outdoor activities.

The play-based programming is fun and educational. One of the perks of being a Co-op parent is that I can linger once school starts and sit with my son during story-telling or music class. "Manor Road is a happy, warm nursery school and a wonderful part of the community. Our 3.5 year old son attends Manor Road and loves it - he is thriving. Highly recommend if parents are looking for a half-day program that prepares children for JK. As a parent you are involved in the day-to-day operation of the school (volunteer based) which is the basis of a co-op - we find this to be a big plus and something we want to be a part of. Teachers are highly engaged and energetic. Truly has a welcoming, community feel. Nothing but great things to say!"

"Manor Road Nursery School has provided my son with a love for learning. He has positive associations with school because of his experience at Manor Road. "We highly recommend Manor Road Coop Nursery School to anyone looking for a smooth introduction to school for their little ones. Our son, who tends to be sensitive and quiet, adjusted extremely well to the new routine and LOVED his teachers. Faryl, the supervisor, and the staff put a lot of thought and work into the monthly themes and the activities offered to keep the children interested and stimulated.
The teachers and participating parents are very caring and attentive to each child’s individual needs and went above and beyond to make sure our son was adapting to his new environment. We also loved the large gym & outdoor playground, and the rich programming, which included music with Kayla, Sportball, French and Spanish circle times.
